We are currently seeking a trustee to act as Treasurer.

Friends of Dundonald Castle SCIO (FODC) aim to protect the future of Royal Dundonald Castle by promoting the understanding, enjoyment and education of the public as to the historical significance of the castle and the surrounding area. In acting as a community hub, we aim to involve the community, in its widest sense, in protecting their heritage.

We are currently seeking a trustee to act as Treasurer.

The Treasurer is a key office bearer and member of our executive committee who will help to strengthen our existing finance team. We are looking for a creative and innovative individual who can add to the skills mix of our current trustees, who shares our core values and has a passion for heritage. The Treasurer will ideally have an accountancy, finance or bookkeeping background and experience in the charity sector and/or strategic planning.

The trustees of our charity have overall responsibility for directing FODC activities, ensuring our assets are safeguarded and making financial decisions which supports the aims of the charity. The Treasurer must commit to preparing for and attending regular monthly evening committee meetings either in person or virtually. The charity holds various events during the year, and you will be expected to provide support at some of the events throughout the year.
